Why this is a Masterpiece
The pendant resembles the discs made of jade used for ritual purposes. However, this one is made of bronze and it is not compact. It is made of two orbs - one forms a central hole and the other one forms a rim. They are joined together by curled bodies of two dragons floating between the orbs. The design of their bodies is hardly visible today, but the dragons still captivate our attention by their buoyancy and movement of their svelte elegant bodies. We may forget that the object is made of metal when seeing the delicacy and vivacity of the ancient piece.

Přívěsek připomíná nefritové disky k rituálním účelům, tento je však vyroben z bronzu a jeho hmota není jednolitá. Pevný okraj a otvor ve středu jsou propojeny stočenými těly dvou draků. Ačkoliv je dekor přívěsku dnes již značně setřen, draci stale upoutávají pozornost bohatým pohybem štíhlých těl. Pohlédneme-li na tento starobylý předmět, těžko se ubráníme překvapení, jaká lehkost a živost je zachycena v kovovém materiálu.
